Wembanyama exceeded expectations in his inaugural season, winning the NBA Rookie of the Year Award with averages of 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, and an NBA-best 3.6 blocks per game. Standing at 7-feet-4 inches with an 8-foot wingspan, the French phenom combines the defensive prowess of Dikembe Mutombo, the court-stretching shooting range of Nikola Jokić, and the slashing ability of Giannis Antetokounmpo into one, never-before-seen package.
