Description

Encapsulated and graded NM 80 by AFA. Easily one of the most popular, if not mysterious, characters to ever appear in the "Star Wars" universe, Boba Fett instantly became a fan favorite when he debuted in the "Star Wars Holiday Special" in 1978. The bounty hunter is the son of Jango Fett, a Mandalorian bounty hunter who was the basis for the clone army used by the Republic during their war with the Separatists. Boba Fett makes his first appearance as one of several bounty hunters Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire employed to hunt down and capture Luke Skywalker in "The Empire Strikes Back." Fett, who later would appear in the employ of Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine after delivering a carbonite-frozen Han Solo in "Return of the Jedi," would later find himself at the bottom of the Sarlacc pit after Luke rescues Han, Leia, C-3PO, and R2-D2 from Jabba's criminal lair. Boba Fett eventually escaped the pit and now appears in his own show on Disney+ as a spin-off of "The Mandalorian."

The offered Boba Fett is the 21 Back-A SW version and features offers for the Collector's case, Droid Factory, Creature Cantina, Land of the Jawas, and the Patrol Dewback on the back of the card. Images of the first 21 figures available in the line are pictured on the back of the card. AFA Subgrades: C80, B80, F85. As Boba Fett has appeared in his own Disney+ show, we are seeing increased interest in collectibles bearing his name and likeness. A sealed Boba Fett is graded NM 80 by AFA.
